Ebayers **Beware!**

A couple of months I decided that I needed a PDA phone to help me organize my day. I really didn't want to purchase a new one from Verizon and renew my contract, so I decided to just go onto Ebay and purchase one. I thought that the Samsung I chose was quite a steal and was quite excited to take it to Verizon and get it hooked up.

Well, it's true what they say. Some things are too good to be true. The phone I purchased was a piece of crap and wouldn't even turn on. At first, I shrugged it off and left it charging overnight, hoping it was just a dead battery. But when it wouldn't power on the next day, I took it to I.T. The guy in I.T. reported that they noticed screws were missing out of the back and the case looked somewhat split open. I had purchased a broken phone, and it was beyond repair.

I contacted the seller, and he insisted that it was working perfectly and would not refund me. Obviously, the phone was not perfect, if there were missing screws in the phone. After going back and forth with him, I finally reported it to PayPal, and opened up a dispute.

So it's been over a month now, and today I shipped the phone back to the seller. I've purchased the new Motorola Q, and renewed my contract with Verizon. Paypal says my chances of recieving a full refund are good. I left negative feedback on the seller sent him the tracking information on the phone, and got an email back from him.

Of course, I could feel the sarcasm of his gratitude over the email, and felt the need to respond and educate the poor dipshit.

No, it's not strange. My responsibility is to pay you. You give feedback on how I paid. Your responsibility is to sell. I give you feedback on how the selling side of the transaction went. I did give feedback per how the transaction went, and I will do a follow-up on how everything goes after the dispute is settled. I'm sorry if you're upset that I left negative feedback, but like I said I was highly upset about that transaction and feedback should not be about "I give you good feedback...you give it to me back..." Once the dispute is settled, I will leave follow-up on how you handled the dispute. Everything should always be based on facts so others can see how the buyers and sellers carry their business, and they can decide if they want to do business with them as well. That's how feedback works.

And then, he responds back:

not upset, dont get me wrong, just saying i gave u a positive and then u give me a negitive, just looked funny i mean i could give a rats ass about feed back, they are not always correct as i have found out in the past, was just commenting on it

I don't see a point in responding further to this poor idiot. All I care about is getting my money back and getting this piece of shit out of my house. So, Ebayers, take heed. Beware of what you buy online, especially when it comes to electronics and high ticket items. Oh, and another hint...especially beware of morons who can't spell. That should be a big clue on their intelligence, and if they can comprehend the basics of successfully carrying out a simple business transaction. Dumbass.
